In Egypt, the black cat was considered |
Where did The Black Cat superstition originate from? The creation of the black cat myth comes from Christian tradition. The devil, in one of his periodic attempts at creation, was trying to make a man. He failed and ended up creating the first cat. The legend says the cat was hairless until St. Peter happened upon the animal, shivering in a doorway. He had pity on it and gave it a fur coat. |
