The Four Leaf Clover

In Egypt, the black cat was considered
13 years good luck if it crossed your path.
Today in America, it is known for being 7 years bad luck.

This swap occured during the middle ages.
In this time, black cats were hunted down and killed.
They were said to be mystical spirits that aided witches in their spellcraft.

Where did The Black Cat superstition originate from?

The creation of the black cat myth comes from Christian tradition.
The devil, in one of his periodic attempts at creation,
was trying to make a man. He failed and ended up creating the first cat.
The legend says the cat was hairless until St. Peter
happened upon the animal, shivering in a doorway.
He had pity on it and gave it a fur coat.
