What did Humpty Dumpty really mean?

Humpty Dumpty is said to have several meanings.

Theory #1
"Humpty Dumpty" was a huge cannon
set up on a church wall
that fell in the middle of an attack.
It was said to be so heavy and complex
that not only could they not put it back together,
but they could not pull it out of the boggy marsh.

Theory #2
"Humpty Dumpty" referred to
King Richard III, the hunchbacked monarch,
whose horse was named "Wall".
During the battle of Bosworth Field,
He fell off of his steed and
was said to have been "hacked into pieces"
Hence the last phrase
"All the King's horses and all the king's men
could not put humpty together again!"

Theory #3
"Humpty Dumpty" was street talk
during midieval times for someone
who was short and clumsy.
Today he would be called something
like a nerd, geek, or dork!
